Well, apparently Bob Mueller was the only person on the planet that was unfamiliar with Fusion GPS. His testimony Wednesday was a colossal disaster. It left one to come to the conclusion that he had absolutely no involvement with the investigation, or even kept in the loop for that matter. Where has he been for 2 1/2 years? Was he on some remote island with no electricity? Was he napping? Even more astounding is that the Democrats prepped him. Makes you shudder to think how much worse it would have been without the mock testimony lessons. He appeared like a kid that didn’t study for the exam.
As an American tax payer you would have to feel snookered. His team took the country down a terrible, divisive path for 2 1/2 years, and cost this country millions of dollars. He and his team duped the American people, the media and anyone with half an eye open. Left his reputation in tatters, caused many American citizens to hire attorneys, loose their homes, livelihoods, in some cases their freedom and left the American people feeling scammed and asking does he have no shame?
But there is another side to this. He, and his team, made so much money they really don’t care. He can play the bumbling doofus if the money is right. Why not? Bob Mueller doesn’t care what anyone thinks about him, or his reputation. He is laughing all the way to bank, and so are those on his team. Instead of vacationing on an island, he can buy his own.
Fascinating though, that he also scammed the Democrats. They were counting on him to deliver the goods. He and his team took them right up to edge, but did not give them what they had hired him for. Many news pundits will say the Dems used Mueller for their own gain, cost Mueller his dignity, but I would argue, he got the last laugh, because he scammed them too.
The shameful part of this saga is that the political elite will spend any amount of taxpayer money, exploit anyone who will be bought, destroy peoples lives, even attempt to take down a duly elected sitting president, solely for their own personal gain and relentless quest for power. Our elected officials feel there is no price too high.
So as our liberties and freedoms are consciously being snatched from us on an, intentional daily basis, we should all pay closer attention to the upcoming 2020 election. Ask ourselves who is promoting the integrity of this country. Who is actually trying to preserve our individual rights. Who will spend our hard earned money for our benefit and not to enrich themselves. This was a sobering episode in our history and it came at an exorbitant price.
